I was so upset that I forgot my camera for this wedding cake untill I found out a friend was shooting the wedding, thank goodness! These photos are from the talented Cami Dunn. Her photos are amazing! If you are looking for a photographer check her out here!

Aren't these cakes gorgeous? It's the second wedding that I've made mini-cakes and I am really liking this style. It was fun to do 3 different looks for each cake and tie them together. The bride was so sweet and I love love her tulle idea for the 2 tier!

April 2010 :: Its not often I get a bride that says "here's some ideas, but do whatever you want, I trust you!" We were first inspired by these little cakes....

and between the design on the table cloths and inspiration from other fabrics used at the reception, this is how they turned out!

December 2008 :: Devyn has been friends with Whit since Jr. High, they have awesome taste and style. I was excited they asked me to do their wedding cake.

They came to me with a picture and said we want THIS! I said sure! Ha! I had no idea what I was getting myself into. This is the most piping I have ever done!

Isn't it stunning??
This wedding cake was fun. I used the design on the demask fabric to make fondant cut-outs for two tiers of the cake, we decided to leave the middle tier white with a small bow just to break up the busy-ness of the design.

The reception was in her parent's backyard, the whole set-up under the gazeebo with the chandelier...it turned out very cute!

July 2009 :: This wedding cake was for my sister-in-law (husbands sister) I told her to look for photos she liked and we would come up with something. She really liked this cake with the circles but we both agreed it look a little messy and she also like the idea of having a bow...

We combined the two and this is what we got!

This pink polka dotted cake was the very first cake I made for my good friend Tiffany. I had only taken classes for a few weeks and was very nervous! She told me she knew I could do it and she didn't care how it turned out. So thanks to her I discovered a little hidden talent I had and it was something I really enjoyed doing!

A few others I have done...
